Relax, sit back, and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of travelling on a vintage barge as the sun gently sets and showers you with its warm rays. This 2-island sail from Maldon Quay past Northey Island to Osea Island and back; offers a tranquil and peaceful opportunity to feast your eyes on the undulating Estuary landscape before ending off with a steady sail towards the sunset.

Tour Highlights:  

  • A meet and greet and tour of historic Maldon and the famous salt mines Plume Library, St Peter’s church and Malden Museum holding the famous Maldon Tapestry 
  • Sail past Osea Island, a birds sanctuary owned by the National Trust 
  • See the Heybridge Basin and Black Water Canal 
  • Admire Mill Beach with its colourful huts on legs. 
  • Sail past Northey Island, now a luxury weekend retreat and wedding venue before your return journey.
