We have crafted a wonderful afternoon event for you and this year it will be held in the historic and majestic London Coliseum.
Designed by Frank Matcham and built in the early 1900s, the London Coliseum is the largest theatre in London’s West End, with 2,359 seats. Its ambition was to become the “people’s palace of entertainment” and became the home of the English National Opera in 1968.
This package offered by Chigwell Tours will take you on a private tour of the iconic London Coliseum, during which you may see the Company in rehearsals or a peek into the daily running of the ENO. The tour, led by an experienced guide from the Coliseum will end in the rooms above the auditorium for a reception of drinks and refreshments. You will have exclusive access to the Balcony Bar with its secret Juliette balcony overlooking the Sky Bar. Finally, you will also have private use of the Trafalgar Room. This glass fronted area boasts unrivalled views of St Martin’s-in-the-Field, Trafalgar Square and The London Eye.
At 2:15pm you take your seats at the Upper Circle for the perfomance of The Nutcracker Ballet.

There is a hearing loop available for all performances, and guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome in the Coliseum. The Balcony Bar, Clore Space & Trafalgar Rooms have step-free access, and there is step-free access to the Dress Circle. Unfortunately, there is no step-free access to the Upper Circle.
