This is an ideal opportunity for you to relax and socialise before taking your seats in the balcony of this palatial auditorium to enjoy Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, performed by the English National Opera.
Tour Description:
On arrival at the Coliseum, proceed to check in your E- ticket. Proceed to the reception area where the Chigwell Tours representative will meet and great and escort you for your Front of House historical auditorium tour. Ample time for photo ops and self-discovery of this magnificent venue.
Finally, after visiting the Sky Bar for your drink and socialising, you will take your seat for the start of your Nutcracker theatrical experience. Be prepared to be whisked back to the fairytale dreams of your childhood as you watch Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, performed by the English National Opera (ENO).
On a sparkling Christmas Eve in a frost-dusted Edwardian London, Clara receives an enchanted toy soldier which is also a nutcracker as a gift from her uncle Drosselmeyer. Together, they discover a magical world where she battles with the Mouse King and meets a handsome stranger. As the air grows colder, Clara and her valiant Nutcracker take a warm air balloon ride across London to the glistening Land of Snow where a puppet theatre comes to life with dancers from around the world.
